Inmaculada Ruz
Graduated in Law Degree from the University of Valencia and has specialized in Family Law and Inheritance Law for over 30 years, with expertise in International Family Law and International Child Abduction cases.
Professional experience includes serving as Professor of Family Law in the Master’s Degree in Private Law and International Law at ISDE, at the ICAB School of Legal Practice, and in the Master’s Degree in Family Law at the University of Barcelona.
From 2012 to 2019, acted as President of the Matrimonial and Family Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
A published author with numerous articles in legal journals, with regular appearances on radio and television programs, and speaking engagements at national and international conferences and seminars on Family Law.

Certified as a Collaborative Lawyer and serving as a Board Member of the ACDC, acting as liaison with the ENCP.
ProfessionalMemberships include the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), the Spanish Association of Family Lawyers, and the Catalan Association of Family Lawyers. Former member of the STEP Spain Committee, founding member of FDFSI (Forum of International Family and Succession Law), and founding partner of The Bridge (International Spanish Family Law).
Berta Ponce de León
Practicing lawyer and member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). Graduated in Law in 2017 from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), completing the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession along with a Postgraduate Degree in Legal Practice focused on Civil Law at the Barcelona School of Management. Admitted to the legal profession in 2019, following successful completion of the national bar examination.
Professional experience began in 2016 with an internship at the Department of Justice of the Government of Catalonia, followed by practice in several law firms.
Since March 2020, a member of the team at IRUZ Abogados, specialising in national and international family law.
